Oil & Gas Pipelines

PB provides the technical, management and commercial expertise to plan, design and implement onshore and marine pipelines and associated storage & distribution facilities for oil, natural gas and refined petroleum products. We collaborate with independent oil/gas producers, banks and funding agencies, industrial and institutional energy users, governments and their regulatory bodies, and power utilities. With our extensive experience of transmission and distribution pipelines throughout the world, we’ve been responsible for major projects in Bangladesh, USA, Europe and the Middle East.

Our total capability covers:

• Onshore pipelines, including road, river, railway crossings
• Reception, storage and associated facilities or installations
• Pump and compressor stations
• Block valve stations and scraper stations
• Metering stations and pressure reduction facilities
• Management systems, including SCADA, telecommunications, modelling for leak detection and batch tracking, cathodic protection and trading
• Control centre and maintenance buildings
• Environmental, health and safety

We have acted as owner’s and lender's engineer, project and program manager, and business, management and technical/design consultant. We support all phases of green/brown field, expansion and upgrade projects—from concept and feasibility studies through all stages of planning, detail design, appraisals, procurement advice, construction management and commissioning supervision. Our portfolio of services also includes training, institutional development and regulatory advice.
