Aviation
Beginning with our participation in the development of New York’s LaGuardia Airport in 1937, Parsons Brinckerhoff has contributed to many of the leading airports in the world, from London to Milan to Constanta to Hong Kong. Today, we are helping our clients deliver the airports of the 21st Century.
Owners and operators of airports worldwide face unprecedented challenges as the patterns of air travel continually changes. New, upgraded and expanded facilities are needed and airport operators must meet constantly increasing standards for comfort, convenience, safety and sustainability. PB draws on a century of experience and the latest technologies and innovations to assist airport owners in meeting the demands of the flying public.
We offer support to our clients ranging from strategic consulting to planning; sustainable environmental services; design and construction, to operations and maintenance and we provide the programme management skills to oversee an entire project or capital programme.
Parsons Brinckerhoff UK Europe, based in Devonshire Square, London, has local offices around the UK. In addition to airside and landside aviation facilities, we are experienced throughout the UK in the design and construction management of various facilities on which airports depend, such a central utility plants and parking garages, and we have the transportation engineering expertise to improve access to and within airports, whether by car, train, light rail or automated people mover.
